Sansevieria plants

Many of Sansevieria tree said to have originated from the African desert. It is cultivated to have a variety of leaf shapes such as cylinders or thin and long and tapered at the end. Species are often planted is Sansevieria trifasciata, Sansevieria trifasciata 'Hahnii', Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurenti' and Sansevieria trifasciata 'Golden Hahnii' which has yellow stripes on the sides of the leaves.

Breeding and cultivation
It is easily propagated by clump splitting method. The rules are as follows:

1. Watering is done before removing pasunya clumps of trees or on the ground. It aims to facilitate the work of removing the clumps.
2. Break down the clumps into smaller clumps that have few leaves.
3. Plant it in a few new pots with growing medium. Water the planting medium and place it in the shade.

Besides cultivated on a cluster, the tree can be propagated using leaf cuttings.

Trees suitable for planting in different kinds of soil mixtures as long as the water is not stagnant and easily flow out. In terms of care it is easy. The tree is suitable in a variety of conditions either in the shade or direct sun light.

Do not water too much water in the soil medium as will result in the base plant is sour and slowly rotting roots. Ensure medium dry before watering the crops. Use korganik fertilizer like compost or chicken manure for the processed beautiful leaf growth.
