Screw Pine

There are about 700 genera pandanus available in the world. This genus usually have leaves that are long, pointed and barbed. In our country, pandan leaves or Pandanus amaryllifolius scientific name commonly used in our daily cooking.

Pandanus trees sanderi or more is also known by the name of pandan Screw Pine is a relatively large and can reach a height of up to 5 meters. Stem is branched and produce aerial roots. The leaves are yellow can reach 2 meters in length or more. This tree is said to grow slowly and require full sunlight for good growth.
